The MX5OE01 "Wind-buster" fits onto the original Mazda MX5 Miata Mk 1, 2 & 2.5 Roll/Style-bar (hoops).
It's a new and very subtle aid to reducing wind noise and buffeting while driving at high speed, that allows you to have a conversation or hear your audio system, not to mention helping to keep your hair in place.
The key is that it allows the driver or passenger to activate or de-activate while sitting in the car. So there's no need to step out of the car to remove & stow away, as it retracts into a small neat cartridge attached to the bottom of the bars. This allows the driver to keep the clean lines of the Car and Style Bar at low to medium speeds, then easily erect for higher speeds for comfort. The cartridge can remain attached to the bars all year round. Alternatively using the optional "Velcro pads included instead of the attached sticky pads you can remove it and store away. It only takes seconds to re-fit or remove. Perfect!
Weight is kept low using aluminium and light weight materials, with a nylon mesh screen that do not interfere with plastic or glass rear windows. The black finish and aluminium makes sure that it looks like original fitment and it's subtle position up or down has to be a winner. Simply pull up and position on hooks, and then lift and unhook to retract.

Wind-Buster has a semi transparent screen which is positioned so it doesn't effect the rear view from the rear view mirror.
